Badges and Award

MobiMOOC Award: 500$ to win (look here to convert it to your own currency)

At the end of the three week course the MobiMOOC Award will be offered to the winning mLearning project, as voted by the MobiMOOC participants. The winning mLearning project will be that project which is considered by all as having the most impact for people living in difficult or challenged situations.

In order to enter the contest and to win the MobiMOOC Award, you must participate in MobiMOOC and fill in a mLearning project overview. The contest will be based on mLearning project overviews, that will be made based on a 10 step template that can be found here.

Closing seminar and Announcing the MobiMOOC Award Winner took place on Sunday 30 September 2012.
The winner of the MobiMOOC Award is Videhi Bhamiti with her mobile project: m-Shakti to empower Indian women facing rape and molestation.

Badges to show what you have learned

This page features the badges (informal certification) any MobiMOOC participant can get when participating in MobiMOOC.
In order to provide badges, the 'Open Badges' initiative started by Mozilla will be the guideline and it will be adapted to fit mLearning goals and capacities.

The badges will fit informal learning, so loose and fitting the adult learner's drive to explore and ... do their own thing to feed their necessary knowledge needs.
Badges in the making (talking with Open Badges Mozilla to get it technically alright) :
