Overview
Mobile learning has been on the horizon for almost a decade but been slow in adoption. However, with the coming together of many factors including but not limited to enhancements in network bandwidths and mobile computing capacities, it’s now beginning to spread much faster in corporations around the world. I believe there is actually ‘no escaping mobile learning’ for corporate as it has tremendous potential in improving workplace learning and performance. Several organizations are already exploiting this potential of mlearning. You can do the same as well. Join me in this collaborative exploration of mlearning possibilities in the workplace.

Proposed Goal
To understand and appreciate the potential of mlearning in workplace
To present examples of mlearning implementations in the workplace
To understand the key elements of mlearning implementation strategy

Session Delivery Method
I’m planning to keep this session a blend of webcast sessions, self study /activities, and group activities /discussions. Below are some details on the topics to be covered and related resources and activities. This plan below is still in the works so expect some tweaks in this as we come closer to the actual week of the session. Meanwhile please do feel free to suggest other topics and activities that you think would be relevant in achieving our goal. If we all find it useful, I suggest we use the community well after this week for continued discussions and learning.
